This Privacy Policy explains how your data is handled in the Xpent Android application.

1. No Data Collection or Transmission

Xpent does not collect, transmit, or store any personal or financial data on external servers. All data you enter (income, expenses, budgets, net worth) is stored exclusively on your device using local storage.

When you use the app:

Offline: The app operates entirely without internet access. It does not make network requests and does not require an internet connection to function.
Cloud Sync (Optional): If you use the cloud sync feature, you are in control. Data will be stored on a third-party cloud storage provider of your choice. The app never shares this data with us or any other party without your explicit consent.
Local Server Mode: If you use Local Area Network (LAN) sharing, data is shared only between devices on your local network. This data is not sent to our servers.

2. No Developer or Third-Party Servers

The app does not send any data to our servers or any third-party service. We do not use analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, crash reporting services, or any tracking tools.

All data processing and analysis occur entirely on your device.

3. Manual Log Export Only

At your discretion, you can export error logs using the app's "Export Logs" feature. This gives you full control over your data. However, the app does not automatically send any crash reports or logs unless you manually initiate the export.

4. Children's Privacy

Xpent is not designed for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

5. Data Ownership and Control

You are the sole owner of all your financial data. You can delete all data at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing its data in your device settings.

Note: This policy is designed for local-first personal finance apps that prioritize user data ownership and privacy.

6. Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we will update the \"Last Updated\" date. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
